More than 110 journeys in Champagne and the participation as sole Italian guest to exclusive events and tastings at important “maison” (during which he also sampled the oldest champagne wines in the world, the Perrier-Jouët 1825 and Bollinger 1830). He is one of the world’s most quoted champagne reviewers, and wine makers consider him “one of the top five in the world.” He is Chambellan of the Ordre des Coteaux de Champagne, and both author and editor of “Grandi Champagne” (Great Champagne Wines), the most influential and complete guide dedicated to top quality champagne in Italy. The fourth edition is out in November 2017 with its 500 pages, reviews about more than 100 wine producers and cuvees, and many world previews allowed by the champenois because of the reputation of Lupetti in the Region. Moreover, in August 2016, the guide Grandi Champagne (Great Champagne Wines) debuted in its electronic version (iOS and Android App) with the name “Top Champagne”.
